Low Key Weekend

Very low key weekend....I needed it! Friday night we had a few beers at iTap, Saturday I did some Christmas shopping and we tried out a new restaurant - The Good Pie - was pretty good. The place was a wee bit on the tiny side and had a small craft beer selection but - the salad was tasty and the crust was really good! We will go back I am sure....promise to get pics next time :) We were in bed by about 9 on a Saturday night...unusual for us!

Today ended up being a productive day...finally got my jewelry armoire organized.....although I am still figuring out how to get my cocktail rings to fit in there just right....honestly I could probably still use another small jewelry case to properly display all my goodies :) But, at least they are somewhat organized now....

Here it is closed....and I finally have a full length mirror :)

Chad text me this pic on Friday of the girls.... so cute! They are loving their new beds :)

This was Bebe at about 7:15 am on Saturday morning.... she wanted us to get out of bed and get moving lol.

I saw this license plate when I was out and about Saturday....so cute! Both our girls on one plate :)

Today I baked these awesome cookies....OMG they are delicious if you love ginger/molasses cookies like I do.... fantastic! And they are a healthy version as well....

I saw this recipe on a blog I've recently discovered - check it out it is called LaLoosh and it has a ton of WW friendly recipes on there.  Here is the link to this recipe above for the Ginger Molasses Cookies....fantastic! And they make your house smell amazing while they bake.

Alright kiddos - I am off to make some dinner and possible paint my nails before bed....we shall see! Hoping this week is low-key and low-stress! Looking forward to the long holiday weekend ahead :) Later taters!

p.s. - so very happy to see my sister Stacy commented on my blog! YEAH! Keep reading please :) I will need encouragement in the new year to stay on track with my running and attempt to not shove booze, fried pickles & zingers in my face! xoxo!
