On the Naughty List :)

This week is going to be a challenge for me..... for sure. While I really enjoyed all the vacation I took throughout the year....I really REALLY wish I had saved enough to take this week off! Boooo! Instead I am getting my arse up early and heading into the office..... boooooooo! ok enough of the pity party! They have given us off the past 3 years for Christmas Eve....fingers crossed they will again this year. I sure could use a four day holiday weekend to relax and get stuff organized around the house.

I am still in love with Spotify :) Sitting here listening to Portishead while blogging/surfing :) Have not listened to the entire Dummy album in ages. I think Numb is still my favorite on this one. Or Pedestal. Nice and wow, brings back some old memories! But I digress....

So, I was a bad girl today and opened up some Christmas presents early.....shhhhhhh!! Tiffany always marks "don't open until Christmas.....or else!" but, hey... I wanted to :) And....she doesn't read my blog so she won't be any the wiser ;)

Look how pretty! She always does an awesome job of wrapping! Love the black & white theme...

My goodies..... the cocktail napkins are awesome "low maintenance is for rookies" HA! the black in the right corner are awesome gloves with pads on the thumb/first finger for iphone use....i.e. I can text without taking my gloves off! Very important when living in the Midwest.... "fast flats" for those emergency situations when your heels are KILLING and you have to jam somewhere fast....just slip on the fast flats and you can comfortably get where you are going - even if it is to the other side of the dancefloor ;) No gift package is complete without some Philosophy shower gel...this is "Wish You A Berry Christmas" yummmm. And on the shower gel are these awesome bracelets that I have been wanting - they are made with vintage Italian catholic charms - so cool! Some other goodies mixed in there as well and I left a few out - but was an awesome early Christmas to come home to!

And ok while I was at it......we opened my Mom's gifts as well....LOL....she sent this for our house and I love it! It is a hand carved wooden vase signed by the artist.....very cool!

Well that's all I got today folks.... I need to bake a pound cake for work tomorrow... we are all bringing in "eat like a fat girl" food tomorrow....on top of the bossman taking us out for lunch on The Hill and oh yeah, meeting some girlfriends for dinner/drinks tomorrow night! Fun day ahead! Happy Monday....hope everyone reading this is on VACA!
