what's up kids - my life has been pretty nuts lately - work has been so crazy as I am on so many projects i can barely keep track myself. one cool thing - i developed content for a new product we are rolling out and i will be delivering the training this week and, my content will become a live module for future new hires. i was pretty proud of myself :) and as a result of that i am the project manager for a new training program for our line of business so - lots of extra work, long hours, new challenges, fun & stress ahead. But - it is a new path for me in my career that i am excited about so YAY! Excited but stressed for sure. That being said I am sure as hell looking forward to the week of stay-cation I have planned for mid-February :)
In fact, when i get home all i want to do is pin shit on pinterest. how very couch potato of me! I will have to do a separate post on pinterest at some point because i do find that site very intriguing, fun & cool but equally humorous. Some of the DIY stuff I think....really? Why the fuck would you think someone wants a homemade bar of soap for their birthday? Or make fudge that tastes like cake batter? I mean - y'all know I am a sugar freak but even THAT is too much for me :) Anyway...will save all that for another post... the mindless "pinning" I can do on pinterest is a stress reliever for me right now....and who knows maybe all of you will get homemade soap made out of cake batter from me for Christmas.
I ran 3.25 miles Sunday without dying. I think I am just going to pull the trigger and sign up for a 10K - that way i have something to train for. Still deciding which one. Anyone want to run one with me? Have running shoes & will travel.
and in other news - I am excited about this band's new album as it really takes me back to an earlier, darker time in my life that i can now appreciate & embrace instead of feeling nauseated.... i am obsessed with this song right now... I wish we lived closer! I would love to run with you. I have really been wanting to get back into it. I was running 3 miles a day last spring/summer and then my life just went all crazy on me and I haven't run since. Well I did run two days in a row 2 weeks ago...I thought I was dying by the way. I only made it 2 miles. :( Guess that's pretty good though considering I haven't run since summer. Well, gotta go. I bought all this stuff to make soap bars and I need to get on that shit.
