sleepy sunday morning

where do the weekends go? i know this is a three day weekend for a lot of folks due to MLK day on Monday but alas, not for me :( was still a fun one. Friday we met up with friends - old and new - lots of laughs, good beer & even some Rick Astley karaoke mixed in there. I paid for it dearly yesterday - lots of advil, bubbly water & naps :) Last night was PW salad/pizza, a couple beers at 4Hands and an early night - in bed by 10:30 on a Saturday night :)

Sunday mornings are the best - this is my happy place that I daydream about during the week...

Today i have a check list to accomplish - I will run, hit Sams & Trader Joe's, dog park or walk for the girls & plan our menu this week. I have the urge to make some homemade tomato soup - we shall see - I would love to put the emulsion blender to good use :) Also want to get our Mardi Gras package tix for Joanie's - $85 for a warm tent, beer/hurricanes, clean bathrooms & snacks - yes please!
